Their itineraries are as varied as their budgets, but each parent is equally determined to show their children a way of life far removed from their own, without the usual comforts and luxuries.
But what happens when a road trip along the length of Africa results in a car crash involving young children, miles away from medical aid and family support? Or when a daring sea expedition in search of a Pacific island paradise ends in life-threatening food poisoning?

Episode-3.Rosanna and Ajay Pindoria pack their three young kids into the back of a 4x4 and head off to spend a year driving the length of Africa.
The family take the back roads of Africa, all the way from Cape Town to Cairo, dreaming of an epic journey through some of the most dangerous and inhospitable places on earth.
But an adult's dream can be a child's nightmare, and the expedition proves to be both overambitious and underprepared, as a holiday of a lifetime nearly ends up costing them their lives.
Episode-4. Nikki McClements takes her nine-year-old daughter Beth around the world. Little does she know how dramatically the trip will affect the course of her life.
Single mum Nikki McClements is on a mission to show her nine-year-old daughter Beth how the world's poor live. Nikki had to hold down three jobs in order to save the ?10,000 needed to fund the trip. Nikki has also left behind her boyfriend, who she's promised to marry on her return. Episode-5. When John Tregembo hit 50 he began to change everything in his life. He gave up his job to become an artist, then he sold the family house and, now, he's taking his wife and two teenage kids on a search to the other side of the world to find a new home.
But the family have only been abroad once before, and they struggle to adapt to life off the tourist trail in Japan and Cambodia. John sets his hopes on Australia. But their road trip across the Outback ends up threatening his whole family's future.
Episode-6. Gary Fisher always thought there must be more to life than a car in the garage and a mortgage round his neck, and now he plans to find out.
Gary wants to see if it's possible for a welder from Warrington to take on the middle class dream and buy an ocean-going yacht and sail his wife and twin toddlers to America.
But the only way he can afford his dream is to do all the restoration work on the boat himself. Over two gruelling years he spends every penny, and every spare minute of his time attempting to get the boat on the water. But as the yacht nears completion his marriage falls apart.
This film charts the emotional journey of a man whose desire to build a better life for his family risks losing them entirely.

На эти летние каникулы всё семейство отправляется отдыхать в Грецию, в которой, как гласит народная мудрость, есть всё, а именно: тёплое море, яркое Солнце, комфортабельные апартаменты и масса всевозможных приключений. А главное - совсем не дорого, в общем всё включено!
 Фильм снят по мотивам литературного романа известных детских писателей Anders Jacobsson и Sören Olsson.

SE: Sune är tillbaka! Tillsammans med lillebror Håkan Bråkan, storasyster Anna, mamma Karin och pappa Rudolf drar Sune till Grekland på sommarlovet. Som varje sommar förut planerar familjen Andersson sin semestervecka i Myggträsk. Då händer det mest oväntade, pappa Rudolf bokar en charterresa till Grekland. Familjen blir överlycklig men frågorna om resan är många.
På plats i Grekland inträffar katastroferna, Sune tappar sin tjejtjusarkraft, Håkan Bråkan gillar verkligen inte trollet Julle i barngruppen, mamma Karin blir mer och mer irriterad på Rudolf. Samtidigt upptäcker pappa Rudolf att det är all inclusive och vilka oanade möjligheter det för med sig.

13-year-old Pablo is a quiet, lonely boy with a troubled past. His only friend is Julia, a shameless 15-year-old girl who is more than willing to help Pablo with his transition from childhood to adolescence, and give him some advice on sex, love and life in general. On a quiet country road just outside of the village, Pablo meets Paco, an oddly calm, well dressed stranger whose car just broke down. Nevertheless, he seems more interested in the boy than fixing his problem. At first Pablo maintains a cautious distance from the stranger, vaguely heeding his fellow villagers' advice to keep his distance. However, the boy's subconscious quest to find understanding of his dark past and guilt makes him lose all of his protective layers. He sees a new friend in Paco; someone he can open up to and feel valued by almost like a replacement father. As Pablo's affection grows for the man, he is unknowingly and blindly being lead toward a tragedy that will scar him for life.

Редкий телевизионный фильм по сценарию участницы западногерманской радикальной организации "Фракция Красной Армии" RAF Ульрике Майнхоф был показан только в 1994 году в качестве исторического материала из-за ареста Майнхоф. Фильм остро критикует авторитарные методы принудительного воспитания в интернате для девочек. В процессе повествования происходит бунт воспитанниц против угнетающих структур. Действие фильма обычно трактуется как метафора состояния патриархального общества, в котором жизни людей жёстко регулируются и наказываются.
Bambule ist ein deutsches Fernsehspiel des Südwestfunks aus dem Jahr 1970; Regie führte Eberhard Itzenplitz, das Drehbuch stammt von Ulrike Meinhof.
Der Film kritisiert die autoritären Methoden der Heimerziehung (Fürsorgeerziehung) in einem Mädchenheim. Im Verlauf der Handlung kommt es zu einer Revolte der Heiminsassinnen gegen die unterdrückenden Strukturen. Die Handlung des Films wird oft auch als Parabel auf die gesellschaftlichen Zustände der Zeit verstanden, denen eine neue, verschärfte Form des Klassenkampfes entgegengesetzt werden müsse.
Die vielschichtige Handlung spielt über 24 Stunden in einem West-Berliner Mädchenheim für adoleszente Mädchen. Gleich zu Anfang flüchten zwei von ihnen. Monika wird wegen einer Fußverletzung sofort wieder eingefangen, Irene gelingt die Flucht im zweiten Anlauf. Während Monika zur Strafe im „Bunker“ (der Arrestzelle des Heims) sitzt, erzählt sie einer verständnisvollen und liberal eingestellten Erzieherin, Frau Lack, wie sie schon als kleines Kind von ihrer Stiefmutter ins Heim gesteckt und dort von Nonnen schikaniert wurde; besonders, nachdem diese ihre lesbischen Neigungen entdeckten....

Younger sister Soon-Ja plays with her Barbie doll everyday and dreams of one day living in the United States. Meanwhile, Mang-Taek comes into contact with an American man interested in adopting a healthy Korean girl. Mang-Taek arranges a deal for the American man to adopt Soon-Young. When her younger sister Soon-Ja hears of the adoption, she becomes jealous and asks to take the place of her older sister. When the American man and his young daughter arrive to take Soon-Young, the uncle, Soong-Young and Soon-Ja must decide who is to go. The American father has an ulterior motive for the adoption.

1. A small plane crashes in the Caribbean, leaving only two survivors: a precocious teenage girl and a simple-minded grown-up. They end up on a desert island, with no inhabitants and no rescue in sight, and split. Then, a friendship bond develops between the two. The teenager, realizing she may not live long enough to see this experience, and the grown-up, never faced with this reality, soon fall in love.

O outro garoto, criado por Linda, torna-se um marginal. Ao saber que possui um irmão gêmeo, o marginal assassina Mário, ocupando o seu posto. O jardineiro da casa, Cabral, descobre o estratagema. Para escapar, o assassino ordena a seus capangas que todos os empregados e vizinhos da mansão sejam aprisionados, antes que alguém o delate à polícia. No cumprimento da ordem, os capangas violentam as mulheres que lhes caem à mão. Os prisioneiros se organizam, tentam fugir, mas são recapturados, e Cabral, baleado na fuga, é dado como morto. Cabral, contudo, recobra a consciência e, com grande esforço, mata o falso Mário, perdendo seus capangas e libertando os prisioneiros.

 Совсем недавно, 26 мая 2013 года,в возрасте 87 лет умер Отто Мюль, один из отцов-основателей Венского акционизма, авнгардного, провокационного и скандального течения в изобразительном искусстве ХХ века.
Всю свою жизнь он испытывал на прочность лицемерие и ханжество добропорядочных бюргеров провокационными выходками и смелыми экспериментами. В 1963 году он был впервые арестован на две недели за буйства на «Празднике психофизического натурализма», в ходе которого на головы случайной публики из окна полетел буфет, набитый мукой и вареньем. В 1968 году Мюль получил первый срок, сев в тюрьму на два месяца за участие в легендарной акции «Искусство и революция» в Венском университете. Молодые акционисты сопровождали свою публичную лекцию мастурбацией и дефекацией, в том числе и на австрийский флаг, что переполнило чашу общественного терпения.
Но это фильм не об эпатажном хулигане Отто Мюле. Это фильм о педагоге-новаторе и враче Отто Мюле.
Ещё в в 50-е, закончив педагогическое отделение Венской академии художеств, он около десяти лет занимался арт-терапией со страдающими нервными заболеваниями детьми.
В 1970 году Отто Мюль основал в Вене коммуну, позже названную Aktionsanalytische Organisation (Акционно-аналитическая организация, AAO). Там был проведен самый радикальный художественно-педагогический эксперимент демиурга Мюля по выращивания нового, абсолютно раскрепощённого, естественного, как зверь, человека. Вначале ААО размещалась в Вене на Пратерштрассе, затем переехала в городок Фридрихсхоф. ААО строилась на принципах свободной любви, общей собственности и коллективного воспитания детей без предрассудков. В середине 1980-х, в её лучшие годы, она насчитывала около 700 человек. В 1991 году Коммуне пришел конец — её основатель сел в тюрьму на семь лет по обвинениям в педофилии и нелегальном обороте наркотиков. Отто Мюль отверг все обвинения, отказался просить прощения и каяться. В тюрьме он писал картины и сочинял «Письма из тюрьмы». Освободившись, Отто Мюль уехал из Австрии в Португалию и вновь поселился в коммуне художников, где тихо умер от болезни Паркинсона и сердечной недостаточности в окружении друзей и соратников...
В 2009 году, спустя почти 20 лет, несколько человек, чье детство прошло в Коммуне Отто Мюля, согласились принять участие в съёмках этого фильма и рассказать перед камерой, как это было. В фильме много интервью, а так же документальных съёмок тех лет, которые производил в основном Курт Крен, которого можно по праву считать одним из отцов видео-арта, именно благодаря ему мы имеем возможность увидеть Венский акционизм во всей своей эпатажной красе...
The commune of Otto Muehl, the acclaimed Vienna Actionist, was one of the most controversial artistic and social experiments of the Seventies. In the countryside, on the compounds of the Friedrichshof, mutual sexuality, common property, the connection of happening and body art as well as the consistent removal of any permanent relationships should serve as the ideal foundation for this project. The most ambitious aim of this Austrian commune was Mühls third generation project/Child production which aimed to create a completely new human being. Twenty years later, in summer of 1991, Mühl was arrested for child abuse and the community dissolved. The company's experiment was a dramatic failure. Through the eyes of these children, the film looks back at the community and examines what has become of the children of this utopia.

Nicolas is a young adventurer filmmaker. He arrives in an Indian village in the heart of the Rio Xingu valley with the aim of shooting a documentary there about an ancestral tribal ceremony, Kuarup.
He immediately falls in love with Luacema, the daughter of Chief Ayupu. Watched over by Roberto, the director of the Toa Toari reserve, Nicolas and Ruben, his guide as ridiculous as he is incompetent, settle in the village. In order to get closer to the woman he secretly loves, Nicolas slowly integrates into the villagers’ daily life. After being initiated into local customs, he is made aware of the threat weighing on his new friends and the woman he loves: deforestation.
Ayupu then drags him into their struggle against loggers, responsible for the devastation of the forests that date back to the Palaeozoic era. After several intimidation tactics against Olympio Ferra and his men, Ayupu realizes that Nicolas’s camera is a formidable weapon that could be put to use for their cause.
They leave together for Rio de Janeiro where they hope to be able to impress upon younger generations the danger hanging over their environment and their future.
Nicolas finds the heroic strength to transform his unrequited love for Luacema into a desire to protect her people. This Amazonian adventure gives a meaning to his life and propels him into a fight against ignorance and reckless destruction around the world.
